About Steven Darien
A Rutgers University trustee, Steven M. Darien studied economics there as an undergraduate. While pursuing his degree, he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Inter-fraternity Council Drill Team and served as president of the Honor Economics Society. Steven Darien graduated with a bachelor of arts in economics and later went to Columbia University to earn a master of business administration.
During the early stages of his career, Steven M. Darien honed his skills in management, human resources, and business planning at Merck, Inc. He spent a period of time leading the human resources division and also served as the director of management consulting services. Mr. Darien was appointed by the company’s chairman to guide the Grace Commission, in which position he worked alongside senior military officials at the Pentagon to improve efficiency in the federal government.
In 1996, Mr. Darien joined the Cabot Advisory Group, LLC, of Bridgewater, Connecticut. As chairman and CEO, he leverages more than three decades of experience to help clients integrate quality human resources practices into their businesses.Education
